Michael Kinzer, MA, LMFT

We are greatly influenced by the important relationships in our lives. Therapy is really no different. When a therapist earns the trust of their clients, the possibilities are enormous. Earning a client’s trust requires competence in providing therapeutic services, integrity, and confidentiality. These I provide. I hope my clients also expect genuineness from me—that I am just Michael Kinzer when we talk, that I am as real with them as I hope they will want to be with me, once I have earned their trust. I am also a firm believer in a “collaborative” therapy process, which just means that we together decide what goals are appropriate and what steps clients can take to meet their goals.

Michael Kinzer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, whose training and experience tell him that we are defined in part by our relationships to our families, friends, neighbors and community. Mr. Kinzer provides therapy services to individuals, couples and families.  Mr. Kinzer has several years of experience working with teens in crisis, and in helping families and their members cope with physical and sexual abuse, chronic illness, depression, severe mental illness, and alcohol and drug abuse.

I attended your Stories of Hope and it was wonderful. I was so relaxed and felt so peaceful. Thank you for a truly healing evening!
